St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN);The SKNFA 2016/2017 football season came to an end this week and the Association handed out awards to outstanding players, coaches and teams.

The winners were selected based on voting by Team Coaches and Captains of the various competitions.

2017 Atiba Harris U-15 Player of the Year went to Savio Weekes of Winners Circle Newtown United.

2017 Coach of the Year for Atiba Harris U-15 League went to Kevin Welsh of Winners Circle Newtown United.

Javern Matthew of Sol Island Auto Conaree took the 2017 Keith Gumbs U-17 Player of the Year award, and Newtown’s Kevin Welsh took coach of the year for that league. 

2017 Women's Player of the Year went to joint winners Leranja Wilkinson and Tracy Willock of Winners Circle Newtown United.

Women’s football coach of the year went to Vincent Veira of Winners Circle Newtown United.

In the premier league, Rookie of the Year went to Petrez Williams of S.L Horsford St. Pauls United; Golden Boot for most goals went to Kimaree Rogers of Rams Village Superstars; The Golden Glove, awarded to the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets for the season went to joint winners Jamal Jeffers of S.L Horsford St. Pauls United and Akil Byron of Winners Circle Newtown United.

This year’s SKNFA champions Flow 4G Cayon Rockets copped a number of the top honors for the premier league to add to their winner’s trophy. 

Player of the Year Javiem Blanchette; Coach of the Year went to George “Yellowman” Isaac; and their goal keeper Adolphus Jones won the Fair Play Award, Most Outstanding Goalkeeper of the Finals; and MVP of The Best Of 3 Finals.

Hobson Enterprises Garden Hotspurs collected silver medals and trophy for ist runners up in the finals and St. Pauls took home the bronze for their third place finish.

SKNFA President Anthony Johnson thanked the players, supporting staff, officials, sponsors and fans for their contribution to a successful football season.
