Charlestown, Nevis (Curtis Morton): The Pennyless All stars seniors team totally outplayed the Nevis over 35 Masters at the ET Willet Park last evening. This as the Pennyless All Stars T-20 tournament continued on Thursday night. The Pennyless seniors batted first and amassed 141 for 7 in 20 overs: Tonito Willet 37; Alex Williams 23; Saeed Williams 23.
Merlin Liburd bagged 4 for 18 and this included 3 wickets in his final over; Velly Maynard 2 for 26; Winston Sutton 1 for 16. Nevis over 35 Masters could only muster 78 for 7—effectively all out in 19 overs.
Winston Sutton 30; Ardie Liburd 14. Chavil Archibald; Kezron Archibald; Jason Campbell; Philo Wallace; Akito Willet-all got 1 wicket each. Matches continue on Tuesday of next week when SDA Jets takes on teachers.
