(Antigua Observer) Several search teams, inclusive of police officers and defence force members, relatives and other residents have embarked on what is planned to be an island wide search for two missing women.

The teams left Police Headquarters at daybreak today. The personnel was divided into several groups so they could cover more ground, a police source said.

They are searching for 26-year-old Vincia James who was last seen shortly after 1 pm Friday when she left her work place Dixie Betting Company on Old Parham Road. The other missing woman is Osuide Simpson of Bathlodge. She was last seen last week Monday. It was reported the mentally ill woman walked out of Bevon House after complaining the medication she was receiving was making her ill.
