No Confidence Motion An Un-patriotic Frolic, Grenada PM

(Dominica Vibes): ST GEORGE’S, Grenada — In a national address on Tuesday night, Grenada Prime Minister Tillman Thomas described a no-confidence motion brought by former Cabinet minister Karl Hood as a “frolic… deliberately designed for the purpose of inducing anxiety and instability in our country.”

“In the circumstances, this latest motion is a blatant act of disobedience and dishonour; it is highly unpatriotic, reckless, self-serving and disrespectful of the people of Grenada,” Thomas said.

He claimed that the second no-confidence motion in three months is inspired by the New National Party (NNP).

“It is not only intended to deny Grenadians their joy and peace, but it is also motivated by spite and a determination to pre-empt any improvement in our economic and financial fortunes,” Thomas said.
