Astaphan: "Where Is The Access?"

Former government minister and now a leader of Operation Rescue, a group agitating for a change in the country’s leadership,  Mr. Dwyer Astaphan  is taking issue with the prime minister over a government press release that claims that St. Kitts and Nevis has a “climate of access”. The press release in question was issued to mark 17 years of rule by the St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party.  Mr. Astaphan served in the current administration for some 14 years before resigning. In recent years he has been a fierce critic of the leadership of Prime Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas.
