Ross University campus

Basseterre, St. Kitts (WINN):  Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine has reached out to Mr. Wilbert Liburd, the elderly resident on Old Mill Road close to the school who has been complaining about smoke and fumes from the school’s incineration plant.

A representative of the school has visited Mr. Liburd and discussed the situation with him.

Assistant Dean for External Relations and Communications Jodi Peeler told WINN FM that incineration was only done at Ross when the wind is blowing out to sea, and the institution was putting additional measures in place to help mitigate the problem.
