St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN); Police have charged three young men from Sandy Point in connection to the recent shooting of a woman and subsequent shooting up of her home in Sandy Point.
Hakeem Frederick and Omari Frederick of Farm Site, along with Hakeem Mills of Crab Hill have been charged with attempted murder, and three counts of shooting at with intent. The charges stem from an incident on March 1 when Jacqueline Buchanan was shot in the arm while travelling in a vehicle in the Mount Idle area of Sandy Point. Her two adult sons and young granddaughter were also in the car when gunmen opened fire on the vehicle.
Mills was also charged with the offences of attempted murder and shooting at with intent for allegedly shooting at Ms Buchanan’s residence in Farms Housing Development in Sandy Point in the wee hours of March 4.

Police also informed that one individual was arrested and charged in connection to a rape and burglary which occurred in January 2017.
