Police destroy confiscated cocaine

 

 

 

 

Basseterre, St. Kitts (WINN): Police on Saturday destroyed the packets of cocaine that were recently confiscated off the coast of St. Kitts. Some 134.108 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated street value of  EC $11, 816, 255.00 were confiscated from a vessel operated by two St. Lucian nationals.

Fifty six year old Vincent Clerice and 42 year old Nixon Alexander, both of Marigot, St. Lucia had been charged for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply to Another and Importation of Cocaine into the Federation; the offences committed on September 1st. The cocaine and some smaller quantity of narcotics that were confiscated earlier this year were burnt in an undisclosed location out of Basseterre.
